potential.

organisations in the UK use coaching and 92% judge it to be an
effective tool (CIPD 2005)
Q: Is Coaching a form of training?
A: No. Coaching and training are different. In business and in

Coaching helps you to use those skills to win.
Q: Will my boss know what we are discussing?
A: All Coaching is carried out in the strictest of confidence.
If your employer is paying for your coaching then you, your coach,
your line manager and HR dept. will all agree before hand what
feedback will be provided by the Coach.
Q: Isn't Coaching just for under performers?
A: No. Coaching is an effective way of improving performance but its
not just under performers who can benefit. Coaching can be used to
help prepare you for promotion and to give you support in a new job.
Q: How much does it cost?
A: The cost of a coaching programme will depend upon what type of
coaching you require, the method of coaching and the length of the
coaching programme. Your first 1 hour coaching session is free. Your
Coach will discuss the options open to you at that meeting.
Q: Does all Coaching have to be face to face?
A: Not at all. The coaching sessions can be face to face or can be
by telephone or video link (if available). Some programmes can be a
mixture of all 3. The method of coaching will be based on what suits
you best.
